Hola todos ,
Hoy al ser la una de tarde aqui en Durban, atuvimos en la reunion de la junta directiva del MDL , y varios de nosotros tuvimos intervención, desde ayer estuvimos trabajando mucho en como plantear nuestras preguntas ya que ellos argumentan cualquier cosa con tal de no dar una respuesta que los delate sobre lo que quieren seguir haciendo,para ellos solo sus proyectos tienen valides y solo lo que ellos han financiado tienen exito y son la mejor solucion,que triste para nosotros los recicladores que ellos esten tan cegados y no vean mas alla que sus propios beneficios ,bueno pero como le comentaba a NIL lo peor que podemos hacer es desistir de luchar por eso es que si pudieramos buscar mas aliados para que en todo lugar que ellos vallan estar alguno de nosotros seria genial y en algun momento tendran que, no solo escucharlos ,sino apoyar nuestra labor,hoy mismo alas 6 de la tarde estamos esperando otra reunion sobre los rellenos ahí les estare contando ,necesitamos la fuerza y el apoyo y la union de todos los recicladores del mundo,esta junta directiva en especial el presidente de la misma deja claro que lo social no les compete a ellos el sabe como defenderse ya que su profesión es abogado,pero no nos olvidemos que todos nos equivocamos y ojala que nuestras palabras hallan echo algun ruido,
bueno seguiremos luchando por el reconocimiento y el trabajo de nosotros

Hello everyone,
It’s one in the afternoon here in Durban … today we attended the executive board meeting of the CDM, and many of us intervened. Since yesterday we’ve been working hard on how to pose our questions since they argue whatever they want in order to keep on doing what they do, for them only their projects matter and only that which they are financing will be successful and the best solution … how sad for us recyclers that they are so blind that they don’t see our benefits … the worst we can do – like Neil said – is to stop resisting, that’s why we need to be more allied so that wherever they go there will be some of us … it would be great … at some point they would have to not only listen to us but support our work … today at 6 pm we will be in another meeting about landfill gas … and we need support from wastepickers around the world … in the board meeting the chair made it clear that social responsibility doesn’t matter – he knows how to defend himself well because he is a lawyer – but we don’t agree and I hope that our words have made some noise. We will continue for our work to be recognized.
