The Alliance of Indian Wastepickers (AIW) is an alliance of over 30 organisations working with wastepickers in 24 cities in India. AIW is engaged in highlighting the contribution of wastepickers and strives to integrate wastepickers in solid waste management. Its activities include organizing learning workshops and exchange programs, bringing together large number of wastepickers at city, state, and national levels, facilitating participation of wastepickers in the UNFCCC processes all over the world.  Read newsletter
