BAGUIO City Government officials are now studying the possibility of selling recyclable wastes collected in the barangays.

This is to recoup increasing solid waste management and garbage hauling expenses of the city, Mayor Mauricio Domogan said in his weekly Ugnayang Panlungsod program last Wednesday.

This was the result of a recent executive-legislative meeting as reports reached officials saying low garbage fee collection would not suffice to cover expenses on waste disposal already reaching more than P100 million annually. Read more
