Waste Audit by Binner’s Project.

Throughout the pandemic, Binners’ Project (Vancouver, Canada) has continued offering waste sorting services to building, residences, and events which provide stable and reliable income opportunities to binners, Vancouver’s waste-pickers.
In the last year, we have been formalizing a new service offering: Waste Audits. Through this service, binners measure their sorting impact by recording pre-sort and post-sort weights of each waste stream. This service also provides the buildings we service with key information
about what their waste is composed of, and how high contamination rates are in certain waste streams.
