I have worked with waste management for 23 years.

My biggest dream as a waste picker is  to provide alternative livelihood support for myself and also to help promote the environment.

Me participating in such an important event means so much!! It amazes me that a waste picker can be in a room with high level people, it’s a victory for waste pickers worldwide, and progress as well.

The only message I have is to tell the world to respect and recognize waste pickers as environmental promoters, as people who save the climate,  and people of unity and love.
