- There is a management committee whose leaders are elected every two years. The management committee comprises 5 women. When the group first came together, they were 19 in total, 2 men and 17 women. New members make an application to join the group. The men came out of the group because they did not follow the group’s rules. Membership fee is Ksh. 500. The group is funded by loan interest, savings and grants from proposal writing. They engage the Municipality in their activities. They also engage buyers whom they sell to.
