The Global Alliance of Waste Pickers is a networking process supported by WIEGO, among thousands of waste picker organizations with groups in more than 28 countries covering mainly Latin America, Asia and Africa.
This organization is composed of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and the management committee (members). The leaders are selected through elections which are held after every three years. Members pay membership fees. Recruitment of people into the organization is through payment of a 500 shillings fee.

BAMATO, where they take their plastics in exchange for money. BAMATO also supports JESWM through capacity building. Tema-Tema, whom they provide with plastic bags and in return Tema-Tema supports JESWM through provision of market outlets. K.M.C which provides them with tools.
